Job Title: Systems Engineer Test Technician
Location: 100 Nagog park Acton, MA 01720
Shift: Monday to Friday (8am - 4:30pm)
Payr Rate: $30.21/hr on W2.
Job Summary
- We are seeking a Systems Engineer Test Technician to support R&D and medical device testing activities.
- The role involves preparing lab equipment, building test fixtures, executing manual and automated tests, troubleshooting issues, documenting results, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up test environments, fixtures, and lab equipment.
- Execute manual and automated verification and validation (V&V) tests.
- Collect test data, troubleshoot issues, and prepare test reports.
- Support Test Method Validation (TMV) and Gage R&R studies.
- Maintain lab equipment, materials, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support product development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 3+ years of laboratory or R&D experience, or equivalent higher education.
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and testing procedures.
- Preferred: Medical device industry experience, Python, Git, Jenkins, SolidWorks, 3D printing, or Android/iOS testing.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 20 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods and occasionally work weekends.
