Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conducting thorough assessments and individual therapy sessions tailored to the specific needs of clients, utilizing both traditional and alternative therapeutic methods.

  • Facilitating couples therapy, addressing concerns such as communication barriers, trust issues, and relational dynamics to foster healthier partnerships.

  • Implementing family therapy sessions aimed at improving interaction patterns, emotional connections, and understanding among family members.

  • Developing, implementing, and adjusting individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback.

  • Diagnosing mental health disorders and formulating effective treatment strategies that align with best practices and ethical standards.

  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients, when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse clientele includes individuals from various backgrounds dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. The therapist in this role will engage with clients across different age groups, emphasizing personalized care that respects each individual’s unique context and cultural background. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.

  • Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Massachusetts.

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective therapy as well as documentation and interdisciplinary collaboration.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple client cases while maintaining thorough, accurate records.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience with teletherapy platforms and digital tools for conducting therapy remotely.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

  • Knowledge of community resources and referral options to assist clients in obtaining holistic support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
