Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A reputable home respiratory and medical equipment company is expanding its shipping operations into North Dakota and seeking a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support regulatory compliance. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to serve as PIC without active pharmacy duties, focusing solely on holding and posting a North Dakota pharmacist license for the operation.

Location: Remote (with occasional travel to Massachusetts for site visits, potentially monthly or quarterly)
Position Type: Contract to Hire
Licensing Requirement: Active and clear North Dakota Pharmacist License

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge for shipping diabetes supplies, respiratory equipment, and medications into and out of North Dakota.
  • Maintain current and compliant licensure status with the North Dakota Board of Pharmacy.
  • Support regulatory compliance by holding and posting the North Dakota license for the shipping operation.
  • Participate in occasional site visits to Massachusetts as needed.
  • No active pharmacy work or direct patient care responsibilities are involved.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid and unrestricted North Dakota Pharmacist License in good standing.
  • Reliable and professional, committed to maintaining licensure requirements.
  • Comfortable in a supervisory/licensing role without dispensing or clinical duties.
  • Flexibility regarding employment structure—willing to consider a monthly fee arrangement or direct hire based on personal preference.
  • Currently practicing pharmacists seeking a supplemental income opportunity are encouraged to apply.

This is an ongoing opportunity providing a flexible, low-demand commitment ideal for pharmacists wanting to leverage their licensure for additional income without active pharmacy work. The North Dakota Board of Pharmacy supports this license-only PIC structure for such operations.

Candidates interested in this remote pharmacist licensing role with occasional site visits are encouraged to apply now to explore the contract to hire arrangement. This position offers a professional and regulatory-focused role tailored for licensed pharmacists seeking flexibility and supplemental earnings.

Compensation for this position ranges from $60.00 to $72.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
