Setting: Outpatient Oncology
License: Active Massachusetts license required
OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a General Medical Oncologist with primarily GI oncology experience for a long-term outpatient locums opportunity in Massachusetts.
This is a 1.0 FTE position offering a consistent 4-day-per-week schedule, with the potential to extend beyond the initial 1-year commitment.
Local candidates are preferred, but travel candidates are welcome if they can commit to a consistent schedule.
SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS
40 hours/week | 4 days/week | 8 clinic sessions
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM4:30 PM
The ideal provider will cover all 4 days across both locations:
Fitchburg, MA Health Alliance, Burbank Campus
Simonds-Sinon Regional Cancer Center
- 2 days/week
- 4 clinic sessions
Worcester, MA UMass Medical Cancer Center
University Campus
- 2 days/week
- 4 clinic sessions
Flexible Coverage: Providers who are only available 2 days/week at one location may also be considered.
CLINICAL DETAILS
- 1016 patients/day
- General Medical Oncology with primarily GI oncology
- Epic EMR
- APP support
- RN Navigator support
- Director and Clinic Manager on site
- Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Active Massachusetts medical license REQUIRED
- Hematology/Oncology fellowship REQUIRED
- DEA Required
- CSR Required
- Ability to commit to a consistent schedule
