Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Cambridge, MA is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join their team on a school-year contract basis. This position plays a vital role in supporting student success and well-being through assessment, intervention, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students learning, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student mental health.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to data-driven decision making.
- Assist with school-wide initiatives focused on social-emotional learning and positive behavior support.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state.
- Experience serving K-12 populations in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
