American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care experience to join a hospital rehab team.
Details\n

- Inpatient rehabilitation department staffed by PT and OT providers
- Coverage provided across inpatient hospital floors
- Patient population ranges from birth through elderly age
- Patients present with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses
- 40-hour workweek, 5x8-hour day shifts beginning at 8am
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday coverage as needed

Requirements\n

- Active MA PT license required if applicable
- Current BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) required
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an acute care setting required; 2+ years preferred
- Strong patient handling and transfer technique skills required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with nursing, physicians, and case management
- Strong time management skills with ability to multitask and work independently
