Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed professional is sought to provide counseling services within an elementary school setting. This contract position offers the opportunity to support a specialized caseload of students, addressing their emotional and behavioral needs in a structured educational environment.
Location:
- Manchester, NH
Position Details:
- Contract role for the current school year (CSY)
- Part-time hours: 20 hours per week, spread over 3 days
- Caseload: Approximately 12 students from a high school Emotional Behavioral Disorder (EBD) population
Qualifications:
- Must hold a current license as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist
- Statements of Eligibility are not accepted; valid licensure/certification required
- Experience working with EBD populations is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling services tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to develop behavioral plans
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions accordingly
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with school policies
