Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring MA RN licensure, Epic experience, and the ability to titrate pressors.
Details\n

- Work in the 6 East Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
- 13-week assignment with a Monday start date
- Every other weekend required (nights weekends are Fri, Sat, Sun)
- Patient ratios range between 1:3 and 1:5
- Float required to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units in 4-hour blocks while on shift
- Epic EMR experience required

Requirements\n

- Active MA RN license required in hand
- BLS-AHA certification required
- ACLS-AHA and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Must be able to titrate pressors
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred; required if candidate has no prior travel experience
- Epic EMR experience required

- Provide progressive care nursing to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent floating support to other units
- Day one pass/fail testing administered, including Tele/ECG and medication tests; Relias practice tests available for preparation
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must have a minimum 6-month break before returning
- First-time travelers may be considered but must meet Level 1 trauma experience requirement
- RTO and interview availability must be provided at time of consideration
