Key Qualifications:

  • Active VT Speech Language Pathologist license
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is valued, though not required
  • Capability to provide pediatric SLP services and deliver therapy via teletherapy platforms
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored speech and language therapy to students, both in-person and through virtual therapy
  • Conduct student assessments and develop individualized plans to address communication challenges
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance with educational standards
  • Consult and communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Foster positive relationships to ensure student engagement and progress
  • Participate in student evaluations, IEP meetings, and contribute to educational planning
