A K-12 educational institution in Nashua, NH, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide direct instructional services within middle and high school settings. This contract position is for the current school year and focuses on delivering specialized support in English Language Arts (ELA) aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored ELA instruction to students with diverse learning needs in middle and high school.
  • Implement and monitor IEP goals, ensuring compliance while fostering student growth.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support student success.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular team meetings.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate varying learning styles and abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education teaching certification.
  • Experience working with K-12 students in middle and high school environments.
  • Proficiency in ELA curriculum and instructional strategies.
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Location & Schedule:

  • Nashua, New Hampshire
  • Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM
