American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute inpatient position requiring MA licensure and prior inpatient PT experience.

- Acute inpatient Physical Therapy unit within an interdisciplinary care team
- 8-hour day shift, Tuesday-Saturday, typically 9:00 AM-5:30 PM with flexible Saturday hours
- 13-week assignment at 40 hours per week

- MA license required if applicable
- Current CPR certification required
- Prior inpatient Physical Therapy experience required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required

- Responsibilities include performing evaluations, developing care plans, and providing treatment for patients with a wide variety of diagnoses
- Provides patient, family, and caregiver education as part of treatment
- Completes accurate and timely documentation for all patient care
- Requires a high degree of professionalism and flexibility
- Orientation occurs every other week
- Candidates must complete pass/fail Tele/ECG and Medication testing
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- Candidates must be separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least six months prior to consideration
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- All RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration
