Seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant to provide vital support in an educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract assignment offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference while working with students in a collaborative and supportive environment. You'll deliver essential therapy services as part of a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring every student receives the guided support they need to succeed.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current and active Massachusetts PTA license required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions for diverse student needs
- Organized and detail-oriented approach to documentation and scheduling
- Committed to fostering a positive, encouraging environment for students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services to students on an assigned caseload
- Work closely with supervising Physical Therapist and educational staff
- Implement individualized treatment plans as outlined in IEPs
- Track student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Support educational teams with training and resources as needed
- Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding therapy goals and progress
