Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee heavy highway asphalt paving and resurfacing projects. This role is responsible for managing field crews, coordinating equipment and materials, maintaining schedules, ensuring quality and safety, and controlling project costs.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily paving operations, crews, equipment, and materials.
- Manage project schedules, production targets, and field productivity.
- Ensure compliance with DOT specifications, OSHA standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor job costs, material usage, and overall project performance.
- Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and project documents.
- Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Maintain daily reports, production records, and project documentation.
- Troubleshoot field issues and ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of construction experience, preferably in a superintendent role.
- Strong background in heavy highway asphalt paving and resurfacing.
- Knowledge of paving equipment, construction methods, and DOT requirements.
- Proven crew leadership, scheduling, and job-costing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; construction management software experience preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the United States.

Additional Requirements
