Job Description

Our organization’s Gastroenterology Department is seeking to grow its team with the addition of a new member. The ideal candidate will be a Board certified or Board eligible general gastroenterologist. While proficiency in advanced procedures is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement. We provide a wide range of medical and surgical services aimed at delivering exceptional care to both residents and visitors of our coastal community. This area retains the charm of traditional New England while being conveniently located just over an hour from major cities like Boston and Providence. Our integrated healthcare system includes two acute care hospitals, six urgent care facilities, and a comprehensive network of primary and specialty practices, all connected through a unified electronic medical record system, EPIC.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

Base salary of $550,000 with total compensation potential reaching $750,000
Sign-on bonus of $50,000
On-call ratio of 1:6
Flexible scheduling with access to a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical center
Opportunity to perform 14-16 procedures daily
Established hospitalist program available to manage hospitalized patients
