Our program serves preschool-aged children in a nurturing, play-based environment that encourages growth, exploration, and learning through relationships and creativity.
About the Role:
Substitute teachers play a vital role in maintaining the warmth and consistency of our classrooms when our regular teaching staff are absent. Substitutes may be called forshort-term daily coverageorlonger-term assignments, depending on program needs.

Duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Support a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all children
• Follow daily routines and lesson plans to ensure consistency for the class
• Provide positive guidance and model respectful communication
• Work collaboratively with other staff and maintain open communication with the classroom team
• Uphold all center policies and licensing regulations

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience working with preschool-aged children required
• Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) strongly preferred
• Familiarity with play-based, child-centered approaches to learning
• Dependable, flexible, and able to adapt to varying classroom needs
• Must meet State of New Hampshire child care licensing requirements
