Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled nursing professional with operating room expertise is needed for a contract position in Lowell, MA. This opportunity involves working in a high-capacity operating room environment, providing critical perioperative care with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the operating room, ensuring patient safety and adherence to surgical protocols.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate smooth, timely procedures.
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, promptly addressing any complications.
- Maintain sterile field and proper instrumentation handling in a fast-paced OR setting.
- Adapt to rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and short calls, supporting operational needs.
Schedule/Hours:
- Options for 4x10 or 4x12 hour shifts.
- Days shift examples: 7:00 AM5:30 PM (Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri) and 9:00 AM7:30 PM (Wed).
- Evenings shift examples: 1:00 PM11:00 PM (4x10) or 11:00 AM11:00 PM (4x12).
- Schedule includes two weeks of night shifts and some weekend coverage.
