Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled educator to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 public school setting located between Hollis and Brookline, NH. This part-time contract position requires 10-12 hours per month, beginning immediately and continuing through June 17, 2026. The role involves providing onsite instructional services across multiple school sites, serving a K-12 caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within a K-12 academic program
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor student progress
- Participate in team meetings and maintain required documentation
- Ensure compliance with all district policies, including maintaining confidential student records
Qualifications:
- Active and valid New Hampshire licensure and certification to teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
- Prior experience working in a school-based setting supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners
- Ability to provide services onsite between Brookline and Hollis school sites
- Completion of district fingerprinting requirements
- Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
- Flexibility to manage a K-12 caseload
