Job Description

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Seeking a skilled educator to support Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in a K-12 public school setting located between Hollis and Brookline, NH. This part-time contract position requires 10-12 hours per month, beginning immediately and continuing through June 17, 2026. The role involves providing onsite instructional services across multiple school sites, serving a K-12 caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction tailored to Deaf and Hard of Hearing students within a K-12 academic program
Collaborate with school staff and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Conduct ongoing assessments and monitor student progress
Participate in team meetings and maintain required documentation
Ensure compliance with all district policies, including maintaining confidential student records

Qualifications:

Active and valid New Hampshire licensure and certification to teach Deaf and Hard of Hearing students
Prior experience working in a school-based setting supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing learners
Ability to provide services onsite between Brookline and Hollis school sites
Completion of district fingerprinting requirements
Availability for a Zoom interview as part of the selection process
Flexibility to manage a K-12 caseload
