Purpose:
As the Senior Architect Information Technology Manager, you will design and implement Allerium’s technology framework, ensuring IT solutions align with business goals. Responsibilities include creating blueprints for IT systems, overseeing their implementation, and providing technical leadership. They also include evaluating new technologies, assisting with the management of security and compliance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring the scalability and efficiency of the entire IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-level IT architecture frameworks and blueprints, creating roadmaps that align with business objectives.
- Provide guidance to IT teams, lead troubleshooting efforts, and act as a consultant on technology decisions.
- Collaborate with IT Leadership, engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of IT systems with terrestrial and wireless solutions.
- Work closely with project management teams to support the execution of IT-related projects on time.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration among IT staff and other departments to facilitate information sharing and problem-solving.
- Oversee the implementation of new systems, software, and infrastructure projects from conception to delivery.
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud solutions in support of a primarily remote work force.
- Create and implement security architecture, ensure compliance with regulations, and develop IT disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and availability of all IT systems and data, implementing best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and internal policies related to IT operations. (ISO27001, NIST 800-53 Moderate, ISO9001)
- In conjunction with the security and governance teams Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address potential IT threats and vulnerabilities.
- Research, analyze, and evaluate new technologies to recommend the best solutions for the organization.
- Assess existing IT systems, recommend improvements, and ensure the ongoing security, scalability, and performance of the infrastructure.
- Create detailed design documentation and architectural diagrams
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, telecommunications systems, and emerging technologies in the industry.
- 10+ years of IT management experience, with a focus on Information technology or related industries.
- Deep understanding of integration IT systems and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, IT operations, and team leadership.
- Experience with network architecture, AWS and Azure cloud computing, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience in providing IT services to a heavily remote workforce.
- Comprehensive understanding of BYOD technologies
- Experience in providing Microsoft technologies.
- Ability to lead teams and guide projects to completion.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships across various levels of the organization.
- Ability to analyze complex IT challenges and develop innovative solutions.
- Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.
- A big-picture perspective to align technology with overall business strategy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong presentation skills to represent IT initiatives and strategies to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
