You step in, prioritize the work, and restore normal quickly. That’s the impact you’ll have as our Facilities Reliability Technician.

Mission

Safeguard the condition, safety, and reliability of our buildings, grounds, and production environment through diligent maintenance, timely repairs, and disciplined preventive maintenance.

Impact Areas

• General Facility Care: Keep structures, equipment, and grounds in peak condition through repairs and upkeep.
• Preventive Maintenance: Assist with production equipment PMs per defined procedures to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Electrical (Low Voltage): Repair circuits and replace bulbs, including exit and emergency lighting systems.
• Plumbing & Air: Install/repair plumbing and compressed air lines.
• Building Components: Repair/install ceilings, doors, walls, and windows; complete painting, masonry, and flooring work.
• Safety & Weather: Remove snow and treat sidewalks to maintain safe access.
• Inspections & Reporting: Perform weekly facility/grounds inspections and brief the Facilities Manager on issues.
• Rapid Response: Answer emergency call-ins and resolve urgent problems.
• Facility Caretaking: Handle cleaning tasks that fall outside contracted janitorial services.

Background & Capabilities

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; four-year trade school or equivalent degree preferred.
• Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on industrial facility maintenance covering carpentry, plumbing, low-voltage electrical, painting, preventive maintenance, and snow removal.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal skills; Microsoft Office proficiency; able to read, write, and speak English.
• Attributes: Self-driven, results-focused teammate with strong manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination.
