Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough initial assessments to determine clients' mental health status and substance use issues, establishing a clear baseline for treatment.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices and tailored to clients' unique needs.

  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities that best align with clients’ goals.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.

  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to deliver coordinated care, participating in regular case discussions and treatment planning meetings.

  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support to clients as required, ensuring immediate needs are addressed with empathy and professionalism.

  • Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed on the latest trends and best practices in mental health and substance abuse treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, as well as those facing substance abuse issues. You will utilize a trauma-informed approach to care, acknowledging the uniqueness of each client's experiences and challenges, thereby creating a safe environment conducive to healing.

Qualifications\n

  • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required for this position.

  • You must possess an active mental health counselor license in the state of Florida, demonstrating your qualifications to provide therapeutic services.

  • At least two years of experience in delivering mental health and substance abuse treatment services to individuals is essential for this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
