Description\n
American Traveler is hiring a night-shift Med/Surg RN with current MA licensure, Med/Surg and telemetry experience, and willingness to float to any Med/Surg unit.
Details\n
- \n
- Med/Surg unit setting with 20 to 34 beds depending on unit
- Typical patient ratio of 1:6
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 36 or 48 hours on a guaranteed time basis
- Every other weekend required, plus holidays if needed
- No on-call requirements
- Required to float to any Med/Surg unit
- Block scheduling not available

Requirements\n

- Active Massachusetts RN license required in hand at time of profile upload
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA) required in hand at time of profile upload
- Minimum 2 years of current Medical Surgical experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
- Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
- Must have own vehicle for this assignment
- Skills checklist for Medical Surgical experience, current within 1 year, required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment required

- Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit with a diverse patient population
- Personal scrubs of any color permitted
- Must work two full holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
- All requested time off must be submitted and verified at the time of profile upload; requests made after submission or during interview will not be approved
- No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Permanent address must be included in profile
- At least two specific interview availability dates/times must be provided
