Job Title: Bilingual Admissions Scheduler (Healthcare) – Temp-to-Hire
Location: Back Bay, Boston, MA (100% onsite) Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, 9:00AM – 5:00PM Type: Temp-to-Hire Start Date: ASAP
About the Opportunity Roessel Joy is partnering with a mission-driven home health care organization in Boston to hire a Bilingual Admissions Scheduler for their Care Access team. The organization supports aging adults, people with disabilities and families across Massachusetts. Its nurses and case managers help clients stay safely and independently at home. What You'll Do
- Coordinate and confirm assessment and admission appointments for new clients, and keep client records up to date in the scheduling system
- Assign staff based on certifications, skills, location, availability and client needs
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date schedules for clients and employees
- Answer caregiver and client inquiries through the Caregiver Hotline and other channels, quickly and professionally
- Resolve scheduling conflicts, including call-outs, client schedule changes and availability updates
- Communicate schedule and staffing changes to clients, caregivers and internal teams
- Partner with Clinical, Program, Intake, HR and Recruiting teams to fill staffing gaps
- Run audits, maintain logs and keep scheduling documentation complete and accurate
- Meet productivity and performance goals, and suggest ways to improve scheduling workflows
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting (scheduling, medical reception, patient services, clerical or data entry)
- Experience with high-volume health care records processing
- Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred (Haitian Creole is also a plus)
- High-volume scheduling experience preferred
- Home health or community-based care experience a plus
- Experience with scheduling software (CareCenta or similar) a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to pass a background check
