As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll provide therapeutic interventions focused on fine motor development, sensory processing, and adaptive skills, ensuring each student can fully participate in their educational environment. Your expertise will help foster greater independence, inclusion, and confidence in students from various backgrounds.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Valid COTA certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and travel between school sites
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of an occupational therapist
- Support students’ goals related to fine motor, sensory, and daily living skills
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other team members to maximize students’ access to learning
- Provide interventions both individually and in group settings across multiple campuses
This contract role offers a consistent weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 2:30 pm, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance while making a positive difference in education.
