  • Assist in after-hours building and equipment maintenance, including emergency response when required.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments to proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Using the company's computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, SQF, and other applicable safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties and special projects related to facility and equipment maintenance as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical school or maintenance certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with experience troubleshooting production and building equipment.
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, HVAC basics, and general building repairs.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills for work order documentation and parts tracking.
