Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services during the Extended School Year (ESY) at a program serving high school students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences in Ludlow, MA. This role supports a unique educational setting designed to foster independence through personalized and supportive interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Speech-Language Pathology services primarily to high school students within the Compass High Program.
- Provide Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) support experience; formal AAC evaluations are not required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized education plans focused on skill development and functional communication.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure requirements and program guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with high school students, particularly those diagnosed with ASD or learning differences.
- Demonstrated familiarity with AAC strategies and tools.
- Ability to contribute within a specialized, supportive educational environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Position Details:
- Location: Ludlow, Massachusetts; assignment based at a high school program.
- Duration: July 6, 2026 August 7, 2026, with potential consideration for the following school year.
- Schedule: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week across 2-3 days.
