Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (or a related field)
• Prior experience working as a School Social Worker
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), School Psychologist, M-LADAC, LCMHC, or credentialed School Counselor with substantial counseling experience
• Strong understanding of behavioral health needs in school-aged children
• Outstanding communication, empathy, and crisis intervention skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct counseling and behavioral support services to students, both individually and in groups
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Assist students struggling with behavioral, emotional, or social challenges, linking them to resources and community services as needed
• Lead or participate in the creation of student support plans, IEP meetings, and regular team consultations
• Maintain accurate, confidential records in compliance with school policies and legal requirements
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
• Educate staff and families on behavioral health topics, and promote school-wide mental health initiatives
