Job Description

Contribute your expertise as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or experienced Behavior Tech/Para in a vibrant elementary classroom setting. This onsite opportunity will allow you to make a real difference working with students with behavioral or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) needs, under the supervision of a School BCBA. The assignment runs from mid-October 2026 through late May 2027, at 32.5 hours per week, providing steady, meaningful work through the school year.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (must be provided at application)
Demonstrated experience in behavioral/ASD settings within schools—1:1 experience alone is not sufficient
Background as a Behavior Tech/Para is welcome, provided you have substantial Behavioral/ASD experience
Experience in elementary education environments is highly valued
Ability to follow Behavior Intervention Plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Strong communication, reliability, and organizational skills

What You'll Be Doing:

Implementing evidence-based behavioral interventions and strategies in an elementary classroom
Supporting students with ASD and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers and a BCBA supervisor
Collecting and tracking behavior data accurately
Working onsite to foster social, emotional, and academic growth for assigned students
Maintaining proactive and responsive communication with staff
