Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to emergency department patients following established protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment plans
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control practices
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care under pressure
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and emergency procedures
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Compliance with agency and state licensing requirements, including a Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License for nursing pool staff
Schedule/Hours:
- Standard shift length is 8 hours
- Includes non-billable orientation period
Additional Details:
- Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable as dress code
- Holiday and overtime work compensated with a premium multiplier
- Requests for time off during the assignment must be submitted upfront, with limited time off permitted
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are ineligible for this position
