Job DescriptionTitle: Embedded Software Test Engineer&nbsp; Cambridge, MA (100% ONSITE) Only Locals. Contract to hire: 6+ Months
Mandatory Skills: EMBEDDED TESTING, RF DEVICES AND PERFORMING RELATED TESTING, SPECTRUM ANALYZERS AND OSCILLOSCOPES FDA REGULATIONS (IEC 62304, 21 CFR PART 820), MEDICAL DEVICE BACKGROUND
Required skills:
<ul>
<li>Embedded testing experience</li>
<li>Knowledge of IEC 62304, IEC 60601, and QMS 13485</li>
<li>Familiarity with networking terminology such as servers, switches, and routers</li>
<li>Experience in handling RF devices and performing related testing</li>
<li>Hands-on experience with spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
Key skills required for this role:
<ul>
<li>Experience with Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems</li>
<li>Embedded device testing</li>
<li>Testing real-time large-scale distributed client-server applications</li>
<li>Developing regression and/or functional test suites</li>
<li>Knowledge of FDA regulations (IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 820)</li>
<li>TCP/IP and Cisco equipment/configurations</li>
<li>Understanding of 802.11 wireless technologies and RF testing</li>
<li>Scripting languages (e.g., Python)</li>
<li>C# for automation</li>
<li>Use of network traffic analysis tools (wired and wireless)</li>
<li>Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)</li>
<li>Testing in Agile environments</li>
<li>HL7 and medical device interfacing</li>
