Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a large teaching hospital
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
- Must be available to work required holiday blocks including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's periods as scheduled

Required Qualifications\n
- \n
- 3 or more years of current Emergency Room experience (within the past 6 months)
- Active Massachusetts RN License
- Active BLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Active ACLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Active PALS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Active Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Must have own reliable vehicle for this assignment
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Experience with Meditech Expanse electronic health record system
- Familiarity with high-acuity, high-volume emergency department environments
- Experience in a teaching hospital or trauma-designated facility
