Are you eager to make a difference and connect with our residents? Oakdale Rehab & Skilled Nursing Center in West Boylston is actively seeking an Activities Assistant to become part of our team!

Hours: 33.75
Week 1 Schedule: Monday (11a-7p), Tuesday (9a-5p), Wednesday (9a-5p), Saturday (9a-5p)
Week 2 Schedule: Monday (11a-7p), Tuesday (9a-5p), Thurs (9a-5p), Friday (9a-5p), Saturday (9a-5p)
**Can be flexible with days and hours except weekend and Mondays
Hourly Pay Range: $16.25- 19.42/hr

Responsibilities:

• Ensure dependable and punctual attendance
• Assist or lead group and 1-on-1 activity programs
• Help residents to and from activities
• Report changes in resident behavior and safety hazards
• Distribute and post monthly activity calendars
• Evaluate residents based on backgrounds, interests, and needs
• Maintain daily attendance charts for residents
• File resident attendance forms quarterly or monthly
• Participate in staff and care plan meetings and training
• Maintain equipment and supplies safely and neatly
• Ensure residents receive their mail daily

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working with residents and have familiarity with resident Limitations needs. Have a thorough knowledge of various resident activities
