Our customers rely on consistent, specification-perfect finishes. As a Surface Finishing Specialist, you’ll apply industrial coatings with precision, maintain a safe workspace, and uphold strict environmental handling procedures.
Schedule, Status, and Pay
- Full-time, first shift
- 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- $20.00–$31.00 per hour
Your Impact
- Select and stage the correct paint from inventory for each job.
- Adjust paint with the appropriate thinner to reach target spray viscosity.
- Mix two-part urethane paint with reducer accurately.
- Apply coatings to parts to meet exact customer tolerances and specifications.
- Inspect completed parts to verify compliance with requirements.
- Practice responsible material handling: pour excess paint into the booth-side waste container for hazardous waste pickup; wash spray guns with solvent and collect used solvent in the designated second container.
- Contain and clean spills promptly using absorbent material; follow all hazardous waste procedures.
- Replace filters and sanitize/clean the spray booth as needed.
- Assist with material movement and keep the area orderly.

Must-Have Background
- Two years of industrial spray painting experience or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a respiratory physical.
Physical Capabilities
- Occasionally lift/move up to 30 pounds.
- Comfort with ascending/descending stairs.
- Able to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, and kneel as tasks require.
