Play a key role in supporting students’ growth and development by guiding Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants within a vibrant school district in the Claremont area. This contract opportunity involves providing on-site supervision and guidance for up to two COTAs per Occupational Therapist, helping ensure effective and compliant occupational therapy services for students across multiple school settings.
You’ll be joining a team dedicated to student success, where collaboration and active involvement with district staff and assistants will be a central part of your daily routine. Whether you’re looking for part-time (up to 20 hours monthly) or full-time (up to 37.5 hours weekly) contract work, both options are available, with two Occupational Therapist positions open for the upcoming school year.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist license valid in New Hampshire
- Demonstrated experience providing supervision to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants in a school environment
- Background in school-based occupational therapy services
- Strong organizational and administrative documentation skills
- Commitment to working on-site and collaborating with educators and COTAs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical supervision to up to two assigned COTAs (approx. 7 hours of supervision per COTA monthly)
- Complete required paperwork and uphold meticulous documentation of supervision
- Be present on-site at public schools across the district
- Consult with district staff to support effective service delivery and ongoing compliance
