Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a specialized educational environment near Holyoke, MA! This position is ideal for a skilled Physical Therapist with pediatric and school-based experience who would like to make a difference working onsite in a deaf school setting. The assignment runs from ASAP through the end of the school year.
Enjoy true flexibility—work just two days a week, approximately 1.5 hours each day, and choose your preferred days and times. You’ll have a manageable caseload, providing direct physical therapy services to just three students. Your expertise will be vital, as the school transitions from virtual to in-person PT services to better meet family needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with current credentials in Massachusetts
- Experience providing PT services in schools, ideally with pediatric populations
- Comfortable and enthusiastic about working in a deaf educational environment
- Strong communication, adaptability, and a collaborative approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite physical therapy interventions and documentation for identified students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in line with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and support professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child’s progress
- Maintain accurate session notes and adhere to compliance requirements
