Make a meaningful impact supporting students across various grade levels as a speech-language pathologist in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and families while helping students unlock their communication potential.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for CFY
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Effective time management and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of needs
- Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to determine students’ eligibility for services
- Develop, document, and update individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to maximize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and timely progress reports in accordance with school district and legal requirements
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings as an integral member of the student support team
- Provide consultation and support to staff regarding language and communication strategies in the classroom
