Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers to support K-12 students in Nashua, NH. This contract position spans the school year from August 25, 2025, to June 19, 2026, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, Monday through Friday. The role focuses on varying caseloads within the general and intensive special education classrooms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized instruction tailored to students developmental and educational needs.
- Supporting students with developmental delays and severe intensive needs.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Engaging with families and caregivers to foster a supportive educational environment.
Desired qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Special Education Licensethis is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Certification or experience in intensive needs or relevant specialized caseloads.
- Willingness to work onsite full-time; currently, hybrid or remote options are not available.
- Statements of Eligibility (SOE) are considered with potential for licensure expedited through human resources.
