Time: 9 am -12 pm

Job Overview:

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Golf Instructor to teach the basics of golf to students in grades 1 through 5. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and has a passion for introducing young learners to the sport in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment. The program focuses on fundamental golf skills, sportsmanship, and building confidence through age-appropriate activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach basic golf skills including grip, stance, swing, putting, and chipping.
Plan and lead fun drills, games, and activities that reinforce golf fundamentals.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment where all students can learn and have fun.
Promote good sportsmanship, teamwork, and respectful behavior.
Adapt lessons to suit different ages and skill levels.
Supervise students at all times and maintain discipline in a positive manner.
Set up and take down equipment each day; maintain cleanliness and safety of the play area.
Communicate with program staff and parents as needed regarding student progress and behavior.

Qualifications:

Experience playing or coaching golf, especially with youth.
Enjoy working with young children and creating a positive, fun learning experience.
Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a child-friendly approach.
Ability to lead group activities and manage behavior appropriately.
Must pass a background check.

Preferred:

Previous experience teaching or coaching children ages 6–11.
Knowledge of child development or experience in educational or recreational settings.
PGA Junior Golf or youth sports coaching certification (a plus, not required).
