About This Role
Now hiring Teacher Assistants in Woodstock, VT.
Little Branches Learning Center is a faith-based program that is looking to hire a passionate employee for any of our classrooms. We serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years at our main location and children from 3 years to 3rd grade at our after school and summer programs. Ideally, our hire would be available 8am to 5pm with flexibility. Full time or part time available! Pay starts at $20 an hour for no experience and is negotiable pending education and experience.
What You'll Do
Including but not limited to:
- changing diapers
- preparing snacks
- encouraging healthy choices
- maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- direct support to the lead teacher
- following VT state regulations
- continuous professional development
- learning and following faith-based curriculum
Requirements
You will be considered a trainee for the first year. During that time you will complete a college course or fundamentals equivalent to become an assistant.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and complete fingerprinting in Vermont
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree in early childhood or equivalent or higher
