Occupied hospital renovations, lab fit outs and ground up research buildings are the hardest sites in Greater Boston, and builders here are hiring Superintendents to run them. BELMONT Search is a Construction and Infrastructure executive search firm.
THE ROLE
You run the site next to people whose work cannot stop while you build. Infection control and life safety are the job, not a binder.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Occupied healthcare renovation, lab fit out or ground up research space
- Infection control risk assessment and interim life safety in live buildings
- Phasing and shutdown coordination with facilities and end users
- Heavy mechanical and electrical coordination through commissioning
- Punch, turnover and validation support
- Daily coordination with clinical or laboratory staff on an active campus
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ten or more years running your own sites
- Real time in occupied medical or laboratory environments
- ICRA experience, which is what separates people on this work
- Commissioning exposure on mechanically heavy projects
COMPENSATION
Base of $140,000 to $180,000.
