Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher specializing in K-12 grades, from 1st through 12th grade, including elementary, middle, and high school levels. This contract position is based in Worcester, MA, running from ASAP through the end of the school year. Both full-time and part-time candidates are encouraged to apply, with caseloads spanning the full K-12 spectrum.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning needs.
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff to provide inclusive and effective instruction.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress regularly to adjust strategies and ensure achievement.
  • Managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.
  • Adhering to all compliance regulations and school policies related to special education services.

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • Valid state teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience teaching multiple grade levels, preferably spanning elementary through high school.
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload with varying levels of need.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
