Job DescriptionUrologist - Men's Health
Our organization is in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to lead the Men's Health segment of our Urology program. This role will be based at both the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) in Lebanon, NH, and New London Hospital (NLH) in New London, NH, situated in the picturesque Upper Valley region of New Hampshire.
The selected candidate will take on the role of director for the Men's Health Program within our Urology department. We are looking for an individual with a robust clinical background who values collaboration with primary care providers and referring urologists. Additionally, there is an optional opportunity to engage in our active gender-affirming care surgery program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Men's Health Program within the Urology department.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and referring urologists.
- Participate in medical education for students and residents.
- Engage in research initiatives.
- Contribute to the gender-affirming care surgery program, if interested.
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology, with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency.
- Completion of a Men's Health fellowship is preferred.
- Must secure and maintain a medical license in New Hampshire.
Working Conditions
DHMC is dedicated to medical education, and the successful candidate will be expected to actively participate in the training of medical students and residents. Our Urology residency program accommodates two residents annually. Strong communication skills and a history of professionalism are essential.
