Systems Administrator

About the Role:
Aquila Technology is seeking a System Administrator to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizations. The Systems Administrator is to assist with the installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade of computer, data storage, and network infrastructure on these group testbeds.
There are a few requirements for the position:
- Must be a U.S Citizen- Must have an Active Secret Clearance (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
- Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
- Must be within 100 miles of worksite (Lexington, MA)
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide Tier-3 Support for FPGA development and integration into sensor test-beds and product lines.
- Provide Linux System Engineering and Integration insights into proprietary platform- based systems across a variety of distributions such as Ubuntu and RHEL.
- Configuration of Juniper Networking Hardware in specialized environments.
- Ability to obtain FAA Class 3 Flight Licensure
- Familiarization of Various Compliance Frameworks and applicability to environment: --Specifically: NIST SP 800-53, NIST 800-37, NIST 800-171 and NISPOM requirements.
- Virtualization and Container management using ProxMox, LXC Docker and K3s.
- FPGA Driver Lifecycle Management: Modernization, deployment and security relevant documentation/assessment.
- Management of enterprise solutions: JFrog Artifactory, GitHub Enterprise Server, Atlassian Confluence, TeamCity, SonarQube/Fortify, Ansible Tower, Synology, NetApp.
- Security Hardening, Artifact Generation and Configuration Management: Familiarity with implementing controls based on: EvalSTIG, STIG/SCAP(not used as much) DAAPM Compliant RAR, OpenRMF, CMMC Guidelines, eMASS, , SCTM, NIST and NISPOM guidance.
- Ability to lift over 50lbs
- Automation via bash/Ansible and DevOps integration experience with GitHub, SonarQube, TeamCity and Fortify.
- Agile Framework experience with SCRUM/SPRINT work-flow.
- Strong DevSecOps understanding: Configuration of Linters, Static Code Analysis and reporting mechanisms. Integration of 3rd party software to enhance current development processes/inventory systems.
- Virtualization and Container management and administration: Ability to setup 1:1 emulation environment, replicate/conduct fielded issue troubleshooting and conduct rapid iteration to meet customer deadlines.
- Ability to build custom packaging for proprietary software and manage Artifactory Repositories for nightly and main line software release.

Clearance: Candidates must have an active secret clearance to be considered for this role.
Work location: Hybrid - This person will be required to work onsite 1-2 days / week. The person may be virtual the other days. Candidate should be local to Lexington for this position. Any non local candidates should be prepared to relocate prior to the start of the assignment
