Make a difference in the lives of students throughout a welcoming district near Chester, VT. We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for a contract position serving K–12 students across four school buildings. This full-time assignment will span the 2026–2027 school year, providing comprehensive support and therapy to students in need.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont Occupational Therapist certificate is required
  • Experience working in school-based OT settings, with knowledge of K-12 age groups
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, students, and families
  • Capable of managing a caseload across multiple buildings while supporting district-wide needs
  • Previous school or pediatric OT experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy and consultation services to support students’ academic and functional achievement
  • Complete assessments and develop individualized plans to address each student’s needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate strategies into classroom routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and document progress according to district and state requirements
  • Offer staff training and act as a resource for best practices in occupational therapy interventions

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract Occupational Therapist, working 35–37.5 hours per week, from August 26, 2026, through June 14, 2027. You’ll have the chance to contribute meaningful support across the district while building valuable professional relationships.
