Ideal applicants bring expertise in delivering tiered interventions and leading Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum, as well as guiding students working toward their Individualized Education Program (IEP) counseling goals. Desired Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed as a School Psychologist
- Minimum of three years’ relevant experience, preferably in a school setting
- Background supporting students facing behavioral, mental health, social, and emotional challenges
- Demonstrated skill with tiered interventions and implementing SEL programs
- Experience delivering counseling services for students with IEP counseling goals
- Master’s degree in School Psychology or closely related field preferred
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to students with behavioral, mental health, or emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to design and monitor effective interventions
- Lead implementation of SEL curriculum schoolwide and support staff with best practices
- Evaluate student progress toward counseling goals, updating IEPs and documentation as required
- Facilitate functional behavior assessments and participate in behavioral intervention planning
- Serve as a key resource for crisis intervention, prevention strategies, and mental health awareness
