A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, based in Ludlow, MA, serving a specialized high school program for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and related learning differences. This contract role involves providing targeted speech and language support as part of the Compass High Program, a personalized educational setting designed to foster independence and skill-building outside traditional classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized SLP services to high school students with ASD and other learning differences
  • Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within the program
  • Collaborate with educational staff to support communication goals aligned with each students needs
  • Participate in program planning and documentation consistent with state requirements

Qualifications:

  • Valid state SLP certification and licensure applicable to working in Massachusetts schools
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with adolescent populations, particularly in specialized educational settings for ASD
  • Ability to effectively supervise and mentor an SLPA

Work Details:

  • Location: Ludlow, MA (assignment at Ludlow High School; client office located in West Springfield)
  • Duration: August 27, 2026 June 22, 2027 (dates approximate per the upcoming school calendar)
  • Hours: 32.5 hours per week
