Step into a rewarding role supporting young learners as a physical therapist, working with both preschool and elementary-aged students. This onsite, full-time contract position offers 30 hours per week, starting as soon as you’re ready and tentatively running through June 15, 2027, with the potential for continued extensions. What we’re looking for:
- Current, active license/certification to practice as a physical therapist in Massachusetts
- Previous experience within school-based or pediatric settings
- Experience working with preschool or younger elementary students
- Ability to pass required background checks (CORI and fingerprinting)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- A commitment to providing high-quality, student-focused care
Key responsibilities in this position include:
- Delivering physical therapy services to preschool and some elementary students, supporting their functional mobility and participation in educational activities
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
- Conducting evaluations, maintaining accurate records, and tracking student progress
- Participating in meetings and contributing to IEPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Adapting strategies to ensure therapy is engaging and accessible for young learners
