Your expertise will support the well-being and safety of an elementary-aged child during school hours. Working a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, you’ll become a trusted and valued presence for both the student and the educational team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct 1:1 care, ensuring the student’s health needs are met throughout the school day
- Monitor, document, and communicate medical status and updates to staff and families as appropriate
- Administer basic nursing care under supervision and collaborate with RNs and school health professionals
- Support safe participation in classroom activities and transitions
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current CNA certification is required
- Previous school-based or pediatric care experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
