This opportunity is for a Travel Pharmacist position based in Berlin, NH, supporting inpatient services at a hospital setting. The facility serves critical care areas including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department, requiring a pharmacist who can provide comprehensive medication management and support patient care teams efficiently.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 a.m. – 4:30/5:00 p.m.
  • Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend)
  • Weekend shifts: Saturday/Sunday 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • ASAP start preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and verify inpatient medication orders and inventory
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across multiple specialized units
  • Operate and navigate systems such as Meditech and Omnicell to ensure accurate dispensing and record-keeping
  • Work independently during weekend shifts, making sound clinical decisions aligning with hospital protocols
  • Collaborate closely with medical staff to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
  • Ability to function autonomously, particularly during weekend coverage
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records preferred
  • Experience with Omnicell automated dispensing systems is advantageous
  • Active pharmacist license or eligibility for New Hampshire’s temporary/fast-track licensure
