Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time opportunity is available for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with moderate to severe behavioral needs in an elementary school setting, serving kindergarten through 3rd grade in Pittsfield, MA. This contract position offers the chance to work closely with a dedicated team focused on positive behavioral interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans for students with diverse needs
  • Collect and document data on student progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and supervisors to develop individualized strategies
  • Support students in classroom and small group settings to promote skill development and positive behaviors
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to treatment plan modifications

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Experience working with children exhibiting moderate to severe behavioral challenges
  • Ability to work effectively with young learners from kindergarten to 3rd grade
  • Capacity to accept supervision either in-person or virtually, as provided by the school district
