Minimum 1+ years Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist experience and RCES or ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Electrophysiology (EP) Technician to join a specialized EP Lab in Manchester, NH. This contract position offers an engaging work environment equipped with cutting-edge technologies and a supportive team focused on cardiac care. The role includes advanced procedural work in a lab setting with no weekends or major holiday shifts, providing a balanced schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with complex electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker and implantable cardio-defibrillator implants, EP studies, cardiac ablations, laser lead extractions, and left atrial appendage closure implants.
- Operate and maintain advanced imaging and mapping systems such as Siemens and Philips X-ray, EP Claris Recording System, Carto, Rhythmia, and Ensite Mapping Systems.
- Ensure accurate documentation using the EP Claris Nurse Scribe system.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient care and procedural success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification required.
- Valid New Hampshire license.
- Advanced skills with critical care and/or cardiac experience preferred.
- ACLS and BLS certifications mandatory.
- Comfort working with high-tech electrophysiology equipment and maintaining strict infection control protocols, including proper attire and use of shoe covers and scrub caps.
Schedule:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
- No weekends, no major holiday shifts, no on-call responsibilities.
- Occasional late stays for running cases, approximately 1-2 shifts weekly.
